The Portland-area nonprofit organization VIEWS (Volunteers Involved for the Emotional Well-Being of Seniors) offers the following free Conversations on Aging.

Older adults are invited to participate, talk about some of their concerns, receive resources and ideas, and see how helpful a discussion with peers can be.

The following conversations are scheduled in November:

Holiday Wellness

What: Enjoy the holidays in your own way. As our lives change, our holiday experiences may not always live up to our expectations. Identify what YOU find important in holidays. Explore ways to celebrate what you value.

When: Holiday Wellness will be presented at the following locations:

* Wednesday, Nov. 13, 10-11:30 a.m. at the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center, 505 G Ave., Lake Oswego. To register, call the center at 503-635-3758.
