Zidell released new renderings for its 33-acre waterfront property in December. For generations, the property has been home to the Zidell marine and industrial businesses. The family has launched an ambitious plan to transform the land into a mixed-use district with 27 buildings and 3-3.5 million square-feet of retail, office, and apartment uses. The first to break ground was The Emery, a 118-unit apartment project.

This project is two buildings. One is slated to be a wood-framed, five-floor office building fronting along Northwest 12th Avenue, and the other a 15-floor concrete residential building fronting along the same road. The high-rise plans to include upwards of 200 market-rate apartments. Heartline offers 10,535 divisible square feet of retail and restaurant space fronting 13th Avenue and Kearney Street, and is expecting an early 2018 completion.
