Beaverton Farmers Market starts Feb. 4, open Saturdays
After being socked in with ice, snow and rain this winter, have you got a bit of cabin fever?
Beaverton Farmers Market is back to save the day, opening on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 10 am!
The Winter Market will be open every Saturday this year, continuing through April. Hours are 10 am to 1:30 pm.
More than 40 vendors are scheduled for the Winter Market, including countless produce and meat vendors, restaurant and hot-beverage booths, wineries, breweries and of course, bakeries (can you smell the pastry and donuts yet?)
Located across from the Beaverton Library in the heart of downtown Beaverton, the market is a destination for the whole family.
Our Summer Market opens in May and continues every Saturday through November. Summer hours will be 8 am to 1:30 pm until October and November, when the market opens one hour later at 9 am.
During the summer, the market averages between 15,000 and 20,000 visitors on any given Saturday.
The market is comprised of nursery growers, farmers, and ranchers - both conventional and organic. Artisan food producers offer prepared products, ranging from fruit jams to farmstead cheeses, breads and pastries, pickles, pasta, chocolate and more.
The market also offers many amenities, including live music each week and proximity to the main Beaverton Library and City Park, which includes a playground, interactive fountain, and picnic tables.
Stay tuned as the year progresses and we add more vendors and activities.
