Economic Alliance to focus on green levels of Portland, Seattle
John Tapogna, president of ECONorthwest, will lead a discussion on the topic 'Portland or Seattle: Which city is greener?' at a Westside Economic Alliance breakfast forum on Thursday, May 24, from 7:30 to 9 a.m., at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 9000 S.W. Washington Square Road in Tigard.
Tapogna will compare and contrast the economic strengths and competitive disadvantages for the Pacific Northwest's two largest cities and discuss how these neighboring cities are becoming increasingly different from one another.
The forum costs $25 for alliance members and $35 for non-members, with an additional $10 for registration received after Monday, May 21. A breakfast buffet will be available to members and guests.
