by: COURTESY OF CCSO - Jason Duane Hogan Jr.A 33-year-old man sought in the Sunday night shooting of two Happy Valley women was arrested Tuesday morning in Beaverton.

Jason Duane Hogan Jr. was taken into custody at about 10:40 a.m. on a footbridge at the Beaverton Transit Center, according to Beaverton police.

The U.S. Marshalls Oregon Fugitive Task Force, the Beaverton Police Department and the Multnomah County Warrant Strike Team found and arrested Hogan without incident.

Police said Hogan was armed with a handgun when he was arrested.

Hogan was wanted in the shooting that killed 62-year-old Norma Jean Perrone and wounded 29-year-old Gina Marie Perrone.

Clackamas County sheriff's detectives had been looking for Hogan since late Sunday night, when a wounded Gina Perrone called emergency dispatchers at about 10:41 p.m. saying she and her mother had been shot in their residence. A short time later, others in the area reported hearing gunshots.

Deputies rushed to the house, but were unable to find the person who shot the two women. One of the victims told deputies that she had been shot by Hogan.

Detectives said Hogan had an "extensive violent criminal history."
