Nike has announced the development team for the planned expansion of its World Headquarters campus near Beaverton.

The architecture firm is ZGF Architects, the project manager is Gerding Edlen and the primary construction contractor is Hoffman Construction.

The large sportswear company first revealed it needed to expand late last year. The company announced it would construct two office building on and near its existing headquarters last month.

Nike has not yet revealed key details of its expansion plans, including when construction will start, the cost and size of the buildings, and how many employees they will accomodate.

The buildings are likely to be the tallest in the area, however. At Nike's request, the Washington County Commission recently raised the maximum height restrictions on and around the campus from 80 feet to 110 feet. The commission also increased the height limit for signage to 160 feet.
