Man assaulted clerk before leaving with several items

Beaverton police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store in Beaverton on Monday.

A clerk at the 7-Eleven at 14641 S.W. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic adult male approximately 20 years of age, 5-foot-5 and 140 to 150 pounds with dark, medium-length hair with long sideburns and a thin mustache. He was last seen wearing a black Nike shirt, dark-blue jeans and carrying an orange/charcoal colored backpack.

The suspect also has what looks to be a large tattoo on his right arm.

The suspect committed third-degree robbery when he used physical force against the clerk during the theft.
