Washington County legislators hold joint budget town hall
Washington County legislators will hold a joint town hall to hear testimony on funding for schools, health care, senior services and public safety at 7 p.m. today at Beaverton High School, 13000 S.W. Second St.
Following the budget town halls, held statewide by the co-chairs of the budget-writing Joint Committee on Ways and Means, this town hall will provide Washington County constituents an opportunity to express their own priorities and concerns as budgetary conversations continue in Salem.
Legislators scheduled to be in attendance include: Sen. Chuck Riley (D-Hillsboro), Sen. Elizabeth Steiner Hayward (D-Beaverton), Rep. Jeff Barker (D-Aloha), Rep. Margaret Doherty (D-Tigard), Rep. Ken Helm (D-Beaverton), Rep. Sheri Malstrom (D-Beaverton), Rep. Rich Vial (R-Scholls), Rep. Susan McLain (D-Hillsboro), Rep. Ron Noble (R-McMinnville) and Rep. Janeen Sollman (D-Hillsboro).
