The talk is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 17, at Cooper Mountain Nature House

The Tualatin Riverkeepers and Ash Creek Forest Management present, "River Professor series: Using Cattle Grazing in Native Prairie Restoration."

The talk will feature a discussion on ecological challenges and opportunities in utilizing ranching as a restoration tool, featuring commentary by both natural resource scientists and two Tualatin Valley ranchers. The format will be a 45-minute panel discussion followed by questions and answers provided by the community.

The panel will consist of Nicole Ruggiero, Ash Creek Forest Management; Dean Moberg, Natural Resource Conservation Service; and ranchers George Saul, Connie Saul and James Brown.

The free event will be held at Cooper Mountain Nature House, 18892 S.W. Kemmer Road, Beaverton, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 17. Children are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.
