BEAVERTON POLICE

Sunday, May 6

• A Portland woman was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass after she was spotted on camera shining a flashlight into vehicles parked at a business in the 9000 block of Southwest Canyon Road. She hid from police, who found a picture on her cell phone of a vehicle in the back lot with keys in the ignition and doors unlocked.

• The left rear window was reported broken, and a key stolen, on a vehicle parked at a business lot in the 4000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard.

• A gray BMW 335 sedan was reported stolen from a lot at a business in the 10000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A customer left a wallet with $600 in cash on a urinal at a business in the 9000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard, then returned to find it gone.

• A wallet and mobile phone were reported stolen from an Oregon Lottery machine after a customer walked outside a business in the 4000 block of Southwest 117th Avenue.

Monday, May 7

• A mobile phone valued at $300 was reported missing from a business in the 3000 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A mobile phone valued at $700 was reported missing after its owner dropped it in a parking lot in the 2900 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and 139th Way.

Tuesday, May 8

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of failure to perform the duties of a driver after his vehicle crashed into another on Sunset Highway eastbound near Northwest 185th Avenue. The driver of the other car sustained minor injuries.

• A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 15000 block of Southwest Breccia Drive. Damage was estimated at $6,000.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of negotiating a bad check and first-degree theft when he deposited a $3,600 check from a closed bank account into a new bank, then withdrew $3,200 from the new account.

• A garage-door opener stolen from a vehicle led to a burglary and theft from a second vehicle in the 200 block of Northwest Lost Springs Terrace. Later, tools and firearms accessories valued at less than $100 were reported stolen from another vehicle parked in the same block.

• A phone charger, two rosaries and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 13000 block of Southwest Larch Place.

• A briefcase containing a federal identification badge was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 11000 block of Southwest Teal Boulevard.

Wednesday, May 9

• A Beaverton man and a Rivergrove woman were arrested on multiple charges, including felony possession and distribution of heroin, at a traffic stop at Allen and Hall boulevards.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of identity theft and first-degree forgery in connection with cashing checks stolen from a vehicle. The arrest took place in the 3000 block of Southwest 153rd Drive.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of offensive physical contact after he got drunk and punched his brother in the head in the 5000 block of Southwest Franklin Avenue.

• A Portland woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Scholls Ferry Road.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 4000 block of Southwest 141st Avenue.

Thursday, May 10

• A 2010 black Audi A4 in for service was reported stolen from a lot in the 13000 block of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway.

• Two trimmers, one chainsaw and a backpack gas blower, valued at $1,700, were reported stolen from a locked garage at a business in the 7000 block of Southwest Canyon Lane.

• A vehicle was reportedly scraped in the 6000 block of Southwest Canby Street and damage was estimated at between $4,000 and $6,000.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine — he had a prior felony conviction — in the 4000 block of Southwest Western Avenue.

• Someone was defrauded of $1,700 when she wired money to Nicaragua believing she was buying workers' compensation insurance.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and unlawful entry into a vehicle after he yelled at people in a parking lot in the 1200 block of Northwest Waterhouse Avenue and then attempted to open a car door while someone was inside.

Friday, May 11

• A backpack with a laptop computer and credit cards were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 14000 block of Southwest Osprey Drive while the driver dropped off his child at day care. He returned to find his 3-year-old child crying.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of theft, felon in possession of restricted weapons and concealed knives at Southwest 5th Street and Western Avenue.

• A laptop computer valued at $1,300 was reported stolen from an unlocked truck in the 9000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway while the victim was inside.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of theft after he concealed a BB-8 Star Wars toy in his pants and then tried to waddle out of a store in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road without paying for it. He then claimed to have swallowed heroin, but admitted lying after what was described as a "man-to-man talk" with a police officer.

Saturday, May 12

• A woman smashed a vehicle window in the 11000 block of Southwest Murray Scholls Place and took a yellow bag of Bibles.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after he was found to have passed out at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Tualatin Valley Highway.

• Recreational and photographic equipment valued at $1,500 was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Northwest Lost Springs Terrace.

• A man from Royal City, Wash., was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and offensive physical contact after a Lyft driver told police the man was drunk and the driver ended the ride in the 4000 block of Southwest Angel Avenue. The man then threw a soda at the driver and kicked the car.

• A white BMW 528 was reported stolen from a lot in the 4000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard.

• A 2016 Kia Sorrento was reported stolen from a lot in the 12000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A vehicle parked in the 12000 block of Southwest Steamboat Drive sustained $1,600 in damage when someone used a key to scratch it.

• A Vancouver, Wash., man was arrested on a charge of robbery after he grabbed $720 won by someone else at a business in the 6000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard, then punched and knocked down the victim as he attempted to flee. Bystanders pinned down the man until police arrived.

• Two Beaverton women and a transient man were arrested on charges of criminal trespass after they peered into windows and stole items from an abandoned home in the 4000 block of Southwest Chestnut Place.

• Two laptop computers, a personal computer, a video game console and a drone valued at $7,500 were reported stolen from a home in the 11000 block of Southwest 13th Street. A window was forced open.

Sunday, May 13

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after he struck a car at Southwest Whitely Way and 167th Place, then fled on foot. A police officer and police dog caught him at his home.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after a crash at Southwest Canyon Lane and Canyon Drive.

• A 2015 silver Ford Taurus and a 2013 red-and-white Yamaha FZ6 motorcycle were reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 3000 block of Southwest 170th Avenue.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of offensive littering after covering the sidewalk with trash at Southwest Denney Road and 105th Avenue.

• Three brass utility covers valued at $500 were reported stolen from a business in the 9000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespass after he took tools valued at $600 and a shopping cart from a business in the 4000 block of Southwest 110th Avenue.

• A hospital identification card and a checkbook were reported stolen when someone smashed a window and grabbed two bags from a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Northwest Waterhouse Avenue.

• A black Trek road bicycle was reported stolen from a rack at the Beaverton City Library, 12375 S.W. 5th St.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and felony possession of heroin and methamphetamine at a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

Sunday, May 13

• A woman called to report she left her bike at the Tigard Post Office while she went inside. When she returned, the bike was gone and it appeared someone had cut the lock.

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 14200 block of 112th Avenue after it was discovered that someone had slashed all four tires of a resident's pickup truck.

• Two men were reported engaged in a fistfight in the 17000 block of 92nd Avenue near a barbecue area.

Monday, May 14

• A possible drunken driver was reported along Pacific Highway at Dartmouth Street before the vehicle headed southbound, possibly to Highway 217. Oregon State Police took the call from there.

• A customer reported a window broken out of her car parked in the 15600 block of Sequoia Parkway.

• A home was burglarized and a vehicle ransacked in the 10900 block of Fairhaven Street.

• A caller reported his vehicle had been broken into and his wallet stolen in the 10800 block of Fairhaven Street.

• A man believed to have taken a tip jar at INKA Brew Coffee Co. was detained in the 13700 block of Pacific Highway. He was later discovered to have an outstanding warrant out for his arrest.

• A window of a home in the 14500 block of Hall Boulevard was broken into but the homeowner didn't know if anything had been taken.

• Someone called to report a homeless camp with three to four people was being set up in the 15100 block of Royalty Parkway.

• Washers and dryers in a complex in the 11100 block of Hall Boulevard were broken into and vandalized. It appeared the coin box had been drilled out and cash removed.

• An iPhone was reported stolen from the Washington Square Apple Store.

• Two people were reported digging up some kind of plants in a protected natural wetland area in the 11000 block of 83rd Avenue.

Saturday, May 12

• Someone broke into a vehicle in the 9500 block of Locust Street.

• Another vehicle, this one in the 13400 block of Barnum Drive, was broken into with miscellaneous items taken with the suspects leaving behind lots of stolen mail.

• A man who had hoped to sign up for a membership at a local gym discovered someone else was using his identity.

• A Toyota Corolla was broken into at Washington Square with two computer tablets taken.

Friday, May 11

• Someone reported suspicious individuals going through a parking lot in the 11300 block of Bull Mountain Road checking out cars.

• An employee reported the window of her Chrysler minivan had been smashed and items rummaged through in the 13000 block of 68th Parkway.

• A car parked at Greenfield Drive and Rembrandt Lane was broken into with personal papers and toys removed from its trunk.

• A vehicle was broken into in the 12700 block of 69th Avenue. Police reported it looked like someone may have been siphoned gas from the vehicle.

• Someone who tried to steal something from a Washington Square store got into a fight with a loss prevention officer, who finally got handcuffs on the individual.

Thursday, May 10

• Police responded to a call regarding two transient men in the 11200 block of 72nd Avenue, who were harassing customers.

• Someone reported that two men were loading up scrap mental into their vehicles from a store under construction in the 7500 block of Dartmouth Street.

• A homeless man was reported going through residents' garbage at Watkins Avenue and Walnut streets.

• Someone got into someone else's Domino's Pizza account and tried to place orders for … pizza.

• Drugs were found in an empty apartment in the 14200 block of 112th Avenue.

Wednesday, May 9

• Two men were reported fighting in front of a business in the 11900 block of Pacific Highway.

• Geese were reported on Highway 217, causing traffic problems.

• A man was reported to have pinned a woman to the ground in the parking lot of the George Fox University building.

• Someone threw a can out a car window at Bonita Road and 72nd Avenue, hitting the reporting party's car.

Tuesday, May 8

• A man playing loud music pushing a shopping cart was reported going through recycling bins in the 1300 block of Ash Drive.

• Police took a report of criminal mischief after someone threw a beer can at a woman's car and put a dent in the vehicle in the 13900 block of Pacific Highway.

• A man who told a woman to call police to report a baby duck in a stream then began kicking the woman's vehicle as he was telling her about the incident.

• A homeless individual asked a woman at Walnut Street and 121st Avenue for money and when she refused he started kicking her car and screaming at her.

• Someone reported a that a man exposed himself to traffic while dancing around at Walnut Street and Barrows Road, halfway between Barrows road and Fowler Middle School.

• Three men in their early 20s were reportedly smoking marijuana near a boat ramp in the 17000 block of 92nd Avenue. When told there was no smoking in the park and that smoking marijuana in public was illegal, they didn't seem to care.

• A window on a vehicle was smashed and items removed from it in the 12600 block of Hall Boulevard.

TUALATIN POLICE

Tualatin Police Department

From May 8 through 14, Tualatin police received 530 calls, responding to 19 traffic crashes and making 10 arrests.

Tuesday, May 8

• Someone took an item from the Apple Store at Bridgeport Village without paying for it.

Wednesday, May 9

• A 25-year-old subject listed as missing or endangered was located with a small amount of methamphetamine in his possession. He was cited in lieu of being taking into custody.

Thursday, May 10

• Someone reported a car on fire, parked in the 11800 block of Itel Street.

• A victim reported his bike had been stolen from a bike rack at the Tualatin River Greenway Trail.

• Two men were arrested on outstanding warrants and for being in possession of heroin and methamphetamine in the 8500 block of Tualatin Road.

Friday, May 11

• An unknown individual stole was arrested for stealing two pairs of shoes, one pair containing $800 orthotics, from a front porch in the 8700 block of Avery Street.

Saturday, May 12

• Vandalism was reported in the 5500 block of Natchez Street.

Sunday, May 13

• One of two men located near the area where a burglar alarm went off in the 8500 block of Tualatin Road was arrested for a probation violation.

Monday, May 14

• A transient with a warrant out for his arrest was also cited for providing a false name to police.

• A individual wanted on numerous warrants was taken into custody in the 17800 block of Lower Boones Ferry Road.

• A man wanted on two outstanding misdemeanor warrants was arrested and lodged at

Clackamas County Jail.
