Presented by the Beaverton Arts Commission, “Camelot” will run weekends beginning this week through Oct. 14 in the Beaverton City Library Auditorium, 12375 S.W. Fifth St. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

With book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, King Arthur ushers in the age of chivalry with the Knights of the Round Table. Unfortunately, his lofty ideals are challenged when his queen, Guenevere, falls in love with Sir Lancelot.

“The Beaverton Civic Theatre continually creates quality, crowd-pleasing performances,” said Mayor Dennis Doyle. “This delightful musical is sure to entertain people of all ages thanks to their immense talents.”

Directed by Dennis Britten, the show features Kevin Martin as King Arthur, Marian Horton as Lady Guenevere and Scot Crandal as Sir Lancelot.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, students and groups of 10 or more, and $5 for youth (ages 10 and younger). Free parking is available in the library parking lot.
