by: RAY HUGHEY - Canby Fire District receives the Judge's Choice Award while Canby Rotary members offer a litte harassment in the background.The 22nd edition of the Canby?Herald Chili Cookoff offered a bit of change this year. The cookoff joined forces with the annual Rotary Auction Saturday at the Clackamas County Event Center.

Contest winners this year were:

  • Judges choice -- Canby Fire Dist.
  • People’s choice -- Canby Rotary
  • Spirit award -- Canby Police Dept.
  • Costume award -- Canby Rotary
  • Spiciest chili -- Canby Insurance
  • This year’s Chili Cookoff raised about $1,000, which will combine with the Rotary Auction’s fundraising to benefit The Canby Center, St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank and the Rotary Club of Canby’s RAY HUGHEY - Customers sample the chili offerings at the Netter Construction booth at the Chili RAY HUGHEY - The 2013 Canby Herald Chili Cookoff raised nearly $1,000.
