by: RAY HUGHEY - The Rotary Club of Canby held its third annual Community Auction at the Clackamas County Event Center.The Third Annual Rotary Club of Canby’s Community Auction offered plenty of interesting items and the allure of combining with the Canby Herald Chili Cookoff this year.

Money raised through a silent and oral auctions, as well as the chili feed, will be split among The Canby Center, St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank of Canby and the Canby Rotary Foundation scholarship fund.by: RAY HUGHEY - Visitors check out items up for silent auction.

The Canby Center funds will be used for the Backpack Buddies program that serves approximately 300 low income students and their families by providing weekend food. The St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank will supplement its contributed food donations, creating the nourishment needed for residents to thrive. The Canby Rotary Foundation will expand its scholarship program which currently assists nine area high school students with scholarship funding to the college or university of their choice.by: RAY HUGHEY - Mike Harms scans the audience for potential bidders.
