The Aloha Knights are back in the race for the West Coast Baseball League title after winning back-to-back games against first-place Spokane this weekend in Gresham.

The Knights broke up a 2-2 deadlock with a four-run burst in the seventh inning Sunday, moving in front on a two-run triple by Jared Prince. Aloha pitcher Marc Rzepzynski (4-0) stayed perfect on the season, giving up only two hits and striking out seven through seven innings.

Aloha will try to sweep the three-game series at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25.

The RiverHawks hit back-to-back homers in the first inning Saturday, but Aloha bounced back for a 7-4 victory. The Knights took control with a two-out rally in the fourth inning, sparked by a two-run double by David Douglas graduate Tyler Moore. Teammate Brent Morel capped the rally by stealing home to give the Knights a 5-2 lead.
