Former Gresham resident Paula Ann Gaul, 53, died Monday, July 24, at a medical center in Clackamas. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 2310 S.E. 148th Ave., Portland.
Paula was born Oct. 17, 1952, in Portland to Wilbur and Dolores (Zabrsa) Mankey. She was raised in Portland and graduated from Centennial High School in 1970.
She moved to Gresham in 1999. She was married and divorced.
Paula worked as a surgical technician at Bess Kaiser Medical Center for more than 20 years. She assisted people with disabilities and cancer patients.
She enjoyed the outdoors and family activities.
Survivors include her daughters, Trisha Lostrom of Beaverton and Tanya Bae of Hillsboro; sister, Mary Jo Kaiyala of Vancouver, Wash.; brothers, Greg Mankey of Troutdale, Joseph Mankey of Spanaway, Wash., David Mankey and Phillip Mankey of Gresham; and two grandchildren.
