Online additions continue to build for Marylhurst

Marylhurst University is launching three new online accelerated learning programs, intended to meet the needs of working business professionals.
'Since 1997, Marylhurst has been a leader in online learning,' said Marylhurst University President Nancy Wilgenbusch. 'These innovative, dynamic programs are structured so working adults can reach their educational and professional goals without traveling to campus. They incorporate the latest in adult learning theory with small student cohorts taking one accelerated course back-to-back, every five weeks.'
Each Marylhurst online business degree offers working professionals a unique set of skills to help further their career opportunities:
Bachelor of Science in Business and Leadership - This convenient, flexible, adult-focused program integrates real-world business practices with ethical principles.
Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Studies - This is a unique opportunity for real estate professionals to gain advanced real estate training and acquire additional academic knowledge while earning a BS in Real Estate Studies.
Master of Business Administration - Marylhurst MBA candidates face the rigors of a business education that focuses on combining classical business skills, such as finance and strategic planning, with creativity and sound judgment - the influence of a liberal arts perspective. Students may choose from three concentrations in the MBA program: General Management, Healthcare Management and Nonprofit Management.
'We are proud to offer the benefits of a Marylhurst business education online,' said David C. Plotkin, vice president for academic affairs at Marylhurst. 'At Marylhurst our goal is to supply students with the tools to excel in the modern global economy, and to develop a strong sense of ethics. We believe education is not limited to quality academic and professional training but should include examination of values. The absence of ethical business decisions has been costly to a number of industries in recent years.'
Marylhurst University also offers undergraduate Business and MBA coursework in evening, weekend and online formats at its campus off Highway 43 between Lake Oswego and West Linn.
