Allyne Collin, a 23-year-old Portland woman who had driven west across the Ross Island Bridge, clipped the curb with her SUV and went over the edge on Monday, July 10th. Although she was uninjured, she stayed in the perilously-balanced vehicle until it could be stabilized by responding Portland Fire Bureau personnel. After she got out safely, she was cited for driving without a license or insurance, according to Police spokesperson Cathe Kent.
