Miller sets personal-best in vault event

Hood River's Joel Miller won the high school boys division by clearing a personal-best 14 feet at a competition held by the Tailwinds Pole Vault club Monday, July 31, at Centennial High School.

Centennial's Cayla Weissert won the girls division with a clearance of 10-feet-6-inches, while Louis Baucom of Washougal, Wash., won the master's division at 13-6.
