The Boring Community Planning Organization (CPO) will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the main building of the Boring Fire Department on Highway 212 in Boring.
On the agenda is a representative from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Department, said Chairman Les Otto.
Other topics on the agenda include reports from the CPO treasurer, fire department, nomination committee, water district and communications as well as land-use issues.
During the meeting, there will be opportunity for public comments.

Mt. Hood CPO
The Mt. Hood Corridor Community Planning Organization (CPO) will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at the Dorman Room of the community center, 24500 Salmon River Road, Welches.
The agenda includes reports from standing committees and officers and county correspondence.
Among land-use items for information and discussion is the proposed emergency repair, replacement and installation of a temporary outfall for the Hoodland Sewage Treatment Plant.
Another land-use topic for discussion is a status report on an addition at 24489 Metsger Island Drive.
Also on the agenda is a reminder that board elections will occur at the September meeting. CPO members are asked to bring nominations to the Aug. 4 meeting.
