Tuesday, July 12

• Officers are investigating a possible rape that occurred in the 33000 block of S.E. High School Way.

Monday, July 18

• Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 33000 block of N.E. Williams Street.

• A set of keys found near S.E. 2nd Street were turned into the police department.

Tuesday, July 19

• Officers assisted OSP with a possible juvenile runaway in the 52000 block of Columbia River Highway.

• Officers responded to a report of telephonic harassment at Scappoose City Hall.

• Officers responded to the report of a hit-and-run in the 52000 block of N.E. 2nd Street.

Wednesday, July 20

• Officers responded to a report of identity theft in the 33000 block of S.W. Sequoia Street.

• Officers responded to a fight in progress call in the 33000 block of S.E. Santosh Street. Following an investigation Benjamin Brixey, 28, was taken into custody for probation violation, violation of restraining order, resisting arrest, criminal mischief II and III, assault IV, harassment, and driving under the influence of intoxicants-alcohol. He was lodged in the county jail.

• Cari Haynes, 46, was taken into custody for probation violation and lodged in the county jail.

Friday, July 22

• Charles Harris, 53, was taken into custody for interfering with a police officer and disorderly conduct II. He was lodged in the county jail.

Saturday, July 23

• Officers responded to a hit-and-run in the 51000 block of S.W. Old Portland Road.

• Ryan McLaughlin, 26, was arrested for probation violation and lodged in the county jail.

Sunday, July 24

• Officers assisted the Department of Human Services with a welfare check in the 33000 block of N.E. Prairie Street.

Monday, July 25

• Michelle Gabrielli, 44, was taken into custody for driving while suspended and contempt of court. She was cited and released from the county jail.

St. Helens Police Department

Saturday, July 16

• A male juvenile was taken into custody after hitting another subject with a BB from a BB gun. He was lodged in the juvenile facility in Longview, Wash.

Sunday, July 17

• A female subject reported her vehicle was damaged while it was parked on Old Portland Rd.

Tuesday, July 19

• It was reported that a rifle was stolen from a vehicle.

Wednesday, July 20

• Aaron Lewis Fisher, 21, was arrested on two outstanding Scappoose Municipal Court warrants.

• Troy Daniel Gulliksen, 34, was arrested for violation of restraining order and on three outstanding warrants. He was lodged in the county jail.

Thursday, July 21

• Niles McGregor Harrison, 22, was arrested for probation violation and lodged in the county jail.

• Kevin Michael Cooper, 32, was arrested for probation violation and lodged in the county jail.

• A female subject reported a hit-and-run to her vehicle while it was parked at Chubb's Texaco on Columbia River Hwy.

• Daniel Robert Huck, 33, was arrested for probation violation and lodged in the county jail.

Columbia County Sheriff's Office

Monday, July 18

• Deputies responded to the report of a stolen forklift at the Scappoose Market on Scappoose-Vernonia Highway in Scappoose. The case is under investigation.

• Deputies responded to the report of an assault at a residence on Gregory Lane in Rainier. A male subject stated he was choked and thrown down on the concrete by another male subject at the location. The case is pending further investigation.

Tuesday, July 19

• Deputies responded to a report of fraud at a residence on Bankston Road in Scappoose. The resident stated someone tried to use her debit card after her vehicle was broken into and her purse was stolen. The case is under investigation.

Wednesday, July 20

• Deputies responded to a report of suspicious circumstances at a residence on Short Shadow Lane in Scappoose. A neighbor called to tell the resident his son was on the property without permission and that a large amount of wire stripping and a spool of wire were found. The resident was concerned the wire may have been stolen.

Thursday, July 21

• Deputies responded to a report of a suicidal subject at a residence on Raasee Lane in Warren. A 14-year-old male at the scene drank approximately a fifth of vodka and was intoxicated. The juvenile was placed in protective custody and transported to a hospital in Portland.

Friday, July 22

• Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance between neighbors on Rutters Road in Clatskanie. One neighbor fired a warning shot out a second story window to get the other neighbor off his property. The residents have had trouble in the past and the dispute escalated. At the scene deputies defused the situation and peace was restored.

• Deputies responded to a report of suspicious subjects at a residence on River Front Road in Clatskanie. The resident stated two unknown persons were on the property and attempting to steal two bicycles. The subjects were unable to be located.
