Authorities recently filed reports on the following incidents.

THEFTS

7/16, 11:02 p.m.; A silver and black iPod touch was reported stolen July 8.

7/18, 8:58 a.m.; The owner of a white Volvo reported a license plate had been stolen sometime in the previous two days.

7/18, 9:11 a.m.; A wallet was taken from a Lexus.

7/18, 12:22 p.m.; Makeup and charms were stolen from a silver Mini Cooper sometime between 8:45 p.m. the previous night and 6:30 a.m. that morning.

7/18, 1:26 p.m.; Unity Church reported that air compressor hammer and channel locks were missing.

7/18, 4:35 p.m.; Another car owner reported a license plate had been stolen sometime in the past two days.

7/19, 7:42 p.m.; A woman reported jewelry had been taken on May 28. She suspected her son's girlfriend took it.

7/19, 11:00 p.m.; A resident on Barnes Circle returned home to find the garage door open and two juveniles inside. They ran out but later turned themselves in at the West Linn Police Department. Both were lodged at the juvenile detention center for trespassing.

7/20, 3:51 p.m.; A person was cited and released to parents after stealing from Market of Choice.

7/20, 10:21 p.m.; An incident of third-degree occurred at the Union 76 on Willamette Drive.

7/21, 7:32 a.m.; Two laptops were taken sometime between 10 p.m. July 20 and 7 a.m. July 21 from a car on Blankenship Road. Entry was gained by breaking a door lock.

7/21, 12:36 p.m.; A Jeep Wrangler soft-top was broken into on Fall Oaks Court between 10:45 p.m. the night before and 12:20 p.m. that morning. Military equipment and CDs were taken.

7/21, 11:15 p.m.; A suspicious person dressed all in black was seen trying multiple car doors up and down Imperial Drive. The youth was lodged at the juvenile detention center for unauthorized entry of motor vehicles.

7/22, 12:59 a.m.; A homeowner on Hillcrest Drive heard noises in the kitchen. The K-9 unit was unable to locate the source but a cash box with a small amount of money was taken.

FRAUD

7/15, 5:03 p.m.; A check written on insufficient funds was received at Safeway.

7/18, 4:13 p.m.; A woman reported fraudulent use of her credit card.

7/20, 11:10 a.m.; A man called to report that his deceased mother's attorney had used her credit card after her death.

7/20, 4:35 p.m.; Identity theft was the cause of a person receiving a notice from a collection agency for services with Dish Network.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

7/15, 1:17 p.m.; A hit and run, non-injury accident occurred at McKilligan Street and Willamette Drive. Officers contacted the suspect and assisted with information exchange.

7/21, 12:06 p.m.; A driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device in a non-injury accident at Barrington Drive and Salamo Road.

LIFE IN WEST LINN

7/15, 2:54 p.m.; Police assisted at B.J. Willy's where a customer was choking.

7/16, 11:55 p.m.; Patrons at the West Linn Saloon's beer garden were being too loud. The owner was advised.

7/16, 12:33 a.m.; A very drunk and disorderly couple was fighting and refusing to leave Willamette Park at the West Linn Old Time Fair. They were advised to sleep it off.

7/16, 4:00 p.m.; A caller requested that the loudspeaker at the West Linn Old Time Fair be turned down.

7/16, 4:42 p.m.; An anonymous caller reported that four 16-year-olds were drinking at a house near Day and Salamo roads and were now walking to the West Linn Old Time Fair.

7/16, 9:41 p.m.; A 44-year-old man was caught trying to urinate on a police car.

7/17, 1:08 and 1:17 a.m.; Fireworks were being lit off in the Timothy Lane and Greene Street areas.

7/17, 11:41 a.m.; A woman reported that her son's dad was not bringing him home tonight as they had agreed. Officers gave advice and options.

7/17, 3:17 p.m.; An employee at the Chevron station reported that a man had called, upset that an employee over-pumped his gas. He said he was going to come and shoot the employee. Officers responded and gave advice and options.

7/17, 4:28 p.m.; A man reported that he was at the West Linn Saloon and the Old Time Fair last night and woke up this morning with a broken ankle and bruised face. He didn't know how it had happened but said he would call back with any further details.

7/18, 7:43 p.m.; A man wanted advice regarding a not-so-neighborly neighbor who had confronted his 17-year-old daughter, made threatening gestures and yelled at her and her friend.

7/18, 8:04 p.m.; A woman reported that her daughter has been receiving emails from a deceased son.

7/18, 8:59 p.m.; A man on Skyline Circle reported that two women in a disabled blue Pontiac Grand Am seemed nervous when he asked if they needed help.

7/18, 11:13 a.m.; A man found keys inside his car that were not his.

7/18, 12:18 p.m.; The Chevron customer who asked for $20 of gas and got $40 was still upset. He was removed from the station premises.

7/18, 3:48 p.m.; A man called for advice regarding someone trying to get him to send money to England.

7/18, 9:52 p.m.; Peace was restored after a 17-year-old daughter destroyed property.

7/19, 02:46 a.m.; Numerous mailboxes were broken and signposts pushed over in the Debok Road and Summerlinn Drive area.

7/19, 7:48 a.m.; Several stop signs were down in the area of Carson and Taylor drives.

7/19, 8:39 a.m.; A man reported that a tricycle had been dumped in his backyard sometime in the past three days. He said he would leave the trike by his driveway for a few days and donate it to Goodwill if not claimed.

7/19, 10:38 a.m.; Michael G. Huskey registered as a sex offender.

7/19, 7:58 p.m.; A domestic disturbance broke out at Jack in the Box. The woman stated she was post partum; officers shared numbers to get family help.

7/20, 12:30 p.m.; A person having a psychotic episode and making suicidal threats was voluntarily transported to help by an ambulance.

7/20, 6:17 p.m.; A woman reported being tailgated and nearly run off the road by a red Dodge Ram pickup, following a merging incident in Tualatin.

7/20, 9:14 p.m.; More road rage was reported by an employee at Hungry Howie's. The suspect drove a red Mustang with white racing stripes.

7/20, 9:52 p.m.; A reportedly loud and large group of kids was nowhere to be found at the skatepark.

7/21, 11:46 a.m.; A property owner on 19th Street promised to cut the laurel hedge that is in violation with city ordinance.

7/21, 2:01 p.m.; Kenneth Robert Began, 43, registered as a sex offender.

7/21, 8:57 p.m.; A fire erupted from a Dumpster on Salamo Road after a juvenile threw a firework in it.

7/21, 10:22 p.m.; Extra patrols were requested on Chelan Loop due to juveniles setting fireworks off the previous night, possibly related to the Dumpster fire earlier. The caller said they had put out four fires last night.

7/21, 10:37 p.m.; A woman upset over a breakup with her boyfriend was threatening to slit her throat. Police gave advice.

ANIMAL ANTICS

7/18, 6:53 p.m.; A woman on 13th Street reported that her daughter has been bitten by a dog several times in the past week and a half. Officers responded, and the dog was quarantined.
