Funkhouser/Weakland

Jennifer Funkhouser of Boring and Timothy Weakland of Gresham announced their engagement on Friday, May 19, at the Washington Park Rose Garden in Portland.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeanne Funkhouser of Boring. She is a 2003 Barlow High School graduate and 2006 graduate of Mt. Hood Community College. She is employed as a day care teacher and medical assistant.

The groom-to-be is the son of Andy and Marsha Weakland of Gresham. He is a 2002 Gresham High School graduate and a 2006 Portland State University graduate. He is employed as a graphic designer.

The couple plans to be married Aug. 5, 2007, at Bridal Veil Lakes.
