7/22/11 9:26 a.m. A burglar kicked in the back door of a residence on Ninth Street and stole 3 screw guns, 2 routers and 3 tool pouches filled with various tools.
7/19/11 10:58 p.m. A 16- to 18-year-old male ordered a meal at a restaurant, then dashed away without paying for it.
7/20/11 7:12 a.m. $1,600 in valuables - a computer and a GPS - were taken from an unlocked maroon Honda on Black Forest Court.
7/20/11 10:47 a.m. A car break-in on Black Forest Court resulted in the theft of an amplifier and woofer box worth $560.
7/21/11 3:15 p.m. Two vehicles were entered on Oswego Summit and change and other items were taken.
7/21/11 7:36 p.m. A 42-inch television valued at $500 was stolen from the Lake House on North State Street.
7/22/11 9 p.m. A planter worth $75 was taken from Oswego Summit.
7/23/11 10:42 p.m. Camera gear valued at $4,000 was taken from a vehicle on Canal Circle.
7/24/11 11:07 a.m. Gas was siphoned out of a vehicle on Church Street overnight.
7/24/11 12:11 p.m. Jewelry was stolen from a woman's home on Wall Street while she was out of town.
7/24/11 3:27 p.m. A purse, cell phone and ID were stolen from a woman at the swim park on Lakeview Boulevard.
7/19/11 6:14 a.m. People are constantly trespassing on a property on Jefferson Parkway and not cleaning up after themselves.
7/19/11 10:31 a.m. Wires were cut to a security light on the roof at Uplands Elementary School.
7/19/11 1:46 p.m. A father's 16-year-old son has run away to Yakima, Wash.
7/19/11 2:07 p.m. A 71-year-old man said he was going to his job in Tigard. It is feared he has dementia, because he last worked at the job 10 years ago.
7/19/11 2:52 p.m. Jon D. Trueb, 47, registered as a sex offender.
7/19/11 11:47 p.m. Near midnight, a subject went to Westlake Park and opened large bags of chalk on the little league park.
7/20/11 9:16 a.m. A 17-year-old boy refused to return from his visit to Texas. He was being encouraged to stay there by his biological father, who had just purchased a house and car, and his grandparents.
7/20/11 11:04 a.m. Some mischief-makers on Pioneer Court unplugged lights, inverted outdoor light covers and tossed over planters. The damage was only $100 but chagrin ran high.
7/20/11 11:17 a.m. Two kids were riding motorized scooters on the field at Waluga Junior High School.
7/20/11 1:22 p.m. A woman's stroll down A Avenue was badly disrupted by a boxer dog that charged her twice.
7/20/11 1:30 p.m. Two guns were seized for safe keeping by LOPD officers.
7/20/11 1:32 p.m. A woman received threatening letters from her husband in Mexico.
7/20/11 5:28 p.m. Two 'weed' smokers were jumping off the dolphin statues at Oswego Point Drive.
7/20/11 6:39 p.m. A mysterious stranger followed a woman home from Tigard.
7/20/11 6:49 p.m. A silver BMW was besmirched by egg throwers on Fifth Street.
7/20/11 8:11 p.m. A daughter was very depressed and making suicidal statements.
7/20/11 9:01 p.m. Three juveniles were caught red-handed on the roof of Rivergrove Elementary School.
7/20/11 10:09 p.m. A woman saw mysterious eyes peering out at her from a bush on Hallinan Circle.
7/20/11 10:17 p.m. A very loud male-female screaming match broke out on Lake Bay Court. They were advised to keep it down for the night.
7/21/11 9:18 a.m. A big yellow dog ran into Java Love coffee house.
7/21/11 9:35 a.m. A question about 'pods' possession arose on Woodway Court. There were concerns about pods being left on private property.
7/21/11 10:50 a.m. An American bull terrier broke off its leash and attacked another dog on Greentree Road.
7/21/11 11:15 a.m. The grandma scam appeared to have hit again when a man called a woman claiming to be her grandson and asking for money to get him out of a fix. She denied his request.
7/21/11 5:29 p.m. Five young people were seen riding skateboards in between cars on Greentree Road.
7/22/11 11:50 a.m. A disgusting concoction of ingredients was spread over two cars on Pfeifer Drive - a mixture of ketchup, relish, chocolate syrup and powdered sugar.
7/22/11 12:08 p.m. A daughter's car parked on Chandler Road had chocolate syrup and flour poured on it overnight.
7/22/11 6:24 p.m. A 25-year-old son went out of control, so police were called in.
7/22/11 6:31 p.m. Two nuts were bothering people in Millennium Plaza Park by jumping on tables. A park ranger put a stop to this nonsense.
7/22/11 7:25 p.m. Two people got into a fierce yelling bout on Jefferson Parkway.
7/22/11 7:33 p.m. A bush on Tanglewood Drive was the scene of a drug deal between a male and female.
7/22/11 10:02 p.m. A wild teen driver is racing up and down Cabana Lane, and his parents weren't doing anything to stop him.
7/23/11 3:02 a.m. A skinny prowler in black tried to enter a house on Pine Valley Road.
7/23/11 4:43 a.m. A woman confronted a stranger who approached her stepson's car.
7/23/11 12:56 p.m. Several young people aged 16 to 20 were caught with open containers of Jack Daniels on North Shore Road and South State Street.
7/23/11 3:16 p.m. Cat lovers were searching for a gray cat that was hit by a car but perhaps might still be alive following an accident on Greentree Road.
7/23/11 5:41 p.m. A 97-year-old man in a blue Cadillac drove off the road several times on 10th Street. He will be taken for a retest for his driver's license.
7/23/11 11:57 p.m. Eight kids were playing duck and run on Jean Road.
7/24/11 12:38 a.m. Two subjects rang a doorbell on Douglas Way, ran and threw a smoke bomb.
7/24/11 8:02 a.m. A man on Uplands Drive went out to his pool and found feces floating and damage to his lawn chairs and barbecue.
7/24/11 11:23 a.m. A daughter did not want to go to church with her father even though it was his custody day.
7/24/11 2:28 p.m. A man came over to threaten a babysitter after she denied his request to take her nephew to a party. He threatened to come over and trash her car and house, and he is known to carry a handgun.
7/24/11 3:51 p.m. A woman with no money and no food asked an officer for advice.
7/24/11 6:29 p.m. A man continues to harass a woman with phone calls, even though she has requested him to stop.
7/24/11 10:05 p.m. A birthday party for a 5-year-old grew so loud that neighbors complained. The parents promised to quiet things down and send the children to bed soon.
7/22/11 12:12 p.m. A woman was defrauded out of $1,394 when someone made unauthorized charges on her credit card for a plane ticket.
