Letters to the Editor Sept. 14

Read is the clear choice for House

You'd think a candidate who purports to have done so much would have something to say, but Dom Biggi's main claim seems to be that his family has been here for a while.

He is running for the state House in my district (District 27, Beaverton), so I tried to find out something about him other than motherhood and apple pie, which there is plenty of in all he produces for public consumption. I couldn't find anything specific about his stance on the issues, which makes me very leery about hidden agendas.

So I went to the Web site of his opponent, Tobias Read, the Democrat in the race, and I found specific items he wants to do in areas such as education, health care and jobs. He also is endorsed by the incumbent legislator Mark Hass and many other people and groups. My choice is clear: Tobias Read.
