True freshman tight end Gabe Miller undergoes surgery today to repair a torn right Achilles' tendon that the former Lake Oswego star re-injured while jogging last week. Miller, who is redshirting, says he was told by doctors to expect 100 percent recovery despite the second injury in the same spot. 'It's definitely a hassle,' he says. 'Just when I thought I was coming back real good, now I have to start over at square one. But I'm not missing much footballwise. We'll take rehab slower than the first time to make sure everything goes smoothly. … I'll possibly be back for spring ball but definitely for next season.' … Guard Jeremy Perry, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery last Friday, and cornerback Brandon Hughes, who has missed the first two games with a knee injury, could be available against Idaho.
