Brooke Kelly and Brandon Tate were married at 6 p.m. Friday, June 23, at Aims Community Church in East Multnomah County near Corbett.
The bride's father walked her down the aisle in a double-ring ceremony officiated by Pastor Donnie Thompson.
The bride is the daughter of Adali and Lisa Kelly of Corbett. She is a 2004 graduate of Corbett High School. She is in the graphic design program at Mt. Hood Community College.
The groom is the son of Brian and Jann Tate of Boring. He is a 2003 graduate of Barlow High School. He is studying business administration at Portland State University and is a personal banker at Wells Fargo Bank.
Brittany Kelly, the bride's sister from Corbett was the maid of honor. Her sister, Allysa Kelly, and friend, Melissa Bruene from Corbett and the groom's sister, Brittany Tate from Boring, also attended the bride.
Brian Tate of Boring, the groom's father, was the best man. Also attending the groom were his friend Julian Baxter of Olympia, Wash., uncle, Steve Longenecker and grandfather John Tate both of Gresham.
The newlyweds held a reception at the church immediately following the ceremony. They honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico.
Brandon and Brooke Tate are making their home in Boring.
