Jesuit rallies at half for victory over LO

BEAVERTON - Raphiel Lambert's three second-half touchdown runs were the difference as Jesuit rallied from a halftime deficit to register a 31-20 non-league victory over Lake Oswego on Friday.

The visiting Lakers had a 13-10 halftime lead, thanks to an early 77-yard touchdown run by Will Darkins and two short field goals by Pat Barry. But Jesuit came back strong in the second half with three unanswered touchdowns - all by Lambert.

The last of those scoring runs gave Jesuit a 31-13 lead in the fourth quarter. Lambert finished the game with 80 yards rushing on 14 carries.

Paul Weatheroy led the Crusaders (3-0) with 144 yards rushing on 26 attempts. Darkins led Lake Oswego (1-2) with 150 yards rushing and Lakers quarterback Duncan White finished with 244 yards passing, including a late scoring toss to Kyle Lavender.
