Gresham's volleyball team stayed perfect in the Mount Hood Conference by sweeping Reynolds in three games Thursday night.

The Gophers scored six of the first seven points and were barely challenged during the 25-8, 25-13, 25-17 win.

Austyn Castro served out the final six points of Game One, and the Gophers built a quick 12-1 lead in Game 3 to close out the match.

Reynolds put up a brief challenge in the middle game by taking a 6-4 lead. But Gresham rallied back with a seven-point spurt to regain control 19-10. Gresham's Lana Zielke led the attack with 12 kills and six blocks.

Gresham improved to 5-0 in league, while Reynolds dropped to 4-2.

• In small-school action, Portland Lutheran used an eight-point run in the finale to get past DeLaSalle in four games, while Damascus Christian earned a three-game sweep at City Christian.
