Police don't release name of suspect who hit pick-up, car before wrecking
A person driving a 2007 silver Honda Civic crashed into two other vehicles, then drove away from both wrecks and off an embankment on Southeast Currin Road Friday night.
Police did not release the name of a suspect, but did say that the Honda belongs to Leyvi Otilio Cauich-Cauich.
The hit-and-run driver first hit the rear of a 2007 Chevy S-10 pick-up, driven by Maria Nuno-Leon, 41, of Eagle Creek, on Eagle Creek Road at approximately 10:28 p.m. Nuno-Leon was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
The driver left the scene and hit the left side of a 2007 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Mary Trotter, 49, of Eagle Creek. Trotter's 13-year-old daughter was also in the car. Neither were injured.
Marcial May-Cauich, 32, of Estacada, was a passenger in the Honda driven by the hit-and-run suspect, whom the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office did not identify.
CCSO detectives are still investigating the incident.
