North Marion, Molalla beat Rangers by combined 11-2
Estacada's Capital Conference opponents outscored the Rangers 11-2 last week.
The week began with a 5-1 loss to Molalla at home in Estacada on Tuesday. Then, North Marion took it to the Estacada High School boys soccer team Thursday, 6-1.
The Rangers won their first two games of the season against Junction City and Yamhill-Carlton, before battling with conference favorites LaSalle, but definitely struggled last week.
They now find themselves with a 2-3-0 record on the season, 0-3-0 in the Capital Conference. Last year the Rangers won their first two and couldn't find another win for the remainder of the season.
Estacada played Gladstone at home on Tuesday. The results were not available at press time. The Rangers play at Cascade High School at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
The Cascade Cougars beat South Albany 5-2, but were unable to score in their first two league games against Gladstone and LaSalle, losing the two games 6-0 and 8-0.
