THURSDAY, AUG. 4

Tiny Tots - 10 to 10:45 a.m., Gresham Library. Storytime for children, ages 12-24 months, with an adult.

Toddler Storytime - 10:15 to 11 a.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Storytime for children ages 24-36 months, with an adult.

Family Storytime - 10:30 to 11 a.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to age 6, with an adult.

Toddler Storytime - 11 to 11:30 a.m., Gresham Library. Storytime for children, ages 24-36 months, with an adult.

Preschool Storytime - 11:15 a.m. to noon, Fairview-Columbia Library. Storytime for children ages 3 to 6, with an adult.

Read to the Dogs - 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Troutdale Library. Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy dog. Register by calling 503-988-5355.

Teen Game Night - 4 to 5 p.m., Rockwood Library. Bored? Come play one of the library's board games, or bring your own game to share.

Book Babies - 10:15 to 11 a.m., Gresham Library. Storytime for babies up to 12 months old, with an adult.

SATURDAY, AUG. 6

Seed Saving Workshop - 10:30 a.m. to noon, Troutdale Library. Learn about edible crops, beneficial garden flowers, proper germination techniques and how to save seeds using items found in your own kitchen.

Family Storytime - 11 to 11:30 a.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Storytime for children up to age 6, with an adult.

Family Storytime - Noon to 12:30 p.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to age 6, with an adult.

The Alphabeticians Play the ABCs - 2 to 3 p.m., Fairview Park Bandstand on Village Street. The Alphabeticians combine humor, songs and interactive elements as they sing about numbers, sizes, metaphors, monsters, extinct fish and the alphabet. Event held rain or shine.

TechnoHosts - 2 to 4 p.m., Rockwood Library. Free one-on-one computer help for the whole family. No registration is required.
