Pamplin to speak


Robert B. Pamplin, Jr., creator of the Pamplin Lecture Series and sponsor of the Pamplin School of Business, will speak on Thursday, Oct. 26, in Buckley Center Auditorium on the University of Portland campus, 5000 N. Willamette Blvd.

The lecture is free and open to the public and will begin at 4 p.m. Pamplin's talk will be 'Oldest Continuous Thoroughfare of Lessons Learned.'

Owner of Community Newspapers and KPAM radio, Pamplin, a Lake Oswego resident, was named 2001 Entrepreneur of the Year by Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum. The university's school of business administration is named after Pamplin to honor his $10.8 million gift to the University's Defining Moment Campaign.
