Barlow hammers rival Gresham 50-14

FOOTBALL - Reynolds gets past Sandy, Corbett picks up first league win

BARLOW 50, GRESHAM 14 - The Bruins jumped to a 22-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Justice Taylor and Chase Dillon returned interceptions for touchdowns to spark the early burst. Eric Capelle added a 61-yard punt return to complete the flurry of big plays for the Bruins.

REYNOLDS 29, SANDY 21 - The Raiders boosted their playoff chances with the road win, led by Chris O'Day with 174 rushing yards and three touchdowns. His 37-yard scamper gave Reynolds a 22-12 lead with 7:56 to play.

Sandy cut the gap to a single touchdown in the final minute, but failed to recover an onside kick.

CORBETT 42, GASTON 16 - Corbett took a 35-0 lead into the fourth quarter and was never challenged to pick up its first Northwest League win. The Cardinals put the game out of reach late in the third quarter when Kevin Greenslade hit Spencer Childs with a halfback pass trick play that found the end zone from 50 yards out.
