The Washington County Sheriff's office has identified the man who was shot and killed in Tualatin Sunday morning by a sheriff's deputy.

Jordan Laird Case, 19, was identified last night by a citizen who saw the drawing of the tattoo that was released Monday. Case had a tattoo of a Nautilus seashell on his chest, according to the sheriff's office.

Police from Tualatin, Sherwood and Washington County responded to a 911 call early Sunday morning at the Woodridge Apartments in the 12000 block of Southwest Tualatin Road. A man reportedly entered an apartment and assaulted a woman while her 8-year-old daughter watched.

Police used Tasers and beanbag shots in multiple attempts to subdue the man. The suspect was ultimately shot when he reached for a rifle inside the sheriff deputy's vehicle.

Police have released no further information about Case.
