Theatre in the Grove starts new traditions
One-act playwriting competition
Aspiring playwrights, put your thoughts, pen and paper together and write a one-act play.
Theatre in the Grove is holding a playwriting competition. Make the judges laugh, shiver, cry or all of the above. Any genre is an option - mystery or thriller, absurdist or a children's play, historical or hysterical. All they're asking is that it is family appropriate and limited to 75 pages.
If your play is among the best, the prize is a production of your play. Theatre in the Grove will produce up to three plays. Authors will not receive royalties.
Submit finished plays by Feb. 2, 2007 to: Theatre in the Grove, Attn: Pruella Centers, P.O. Box 263, Forest Grove, Ore. 97116.
