Don't forget to turn in those ballots by Nov. 7

by: contributed illustration, Don't forget to vote!

The Post encourages voters to fill out their ballots for the Nov. 7 General Election and turn it in, if they haven't done so already. With less than a week until ballots are due, citizens have to act fast to make sure every vote is counted. Voters who plan to mail their ballots to the Clackamas County Elections Office must keep in mind that the office must receive them by Nov. 7; postmarking ballots by Nov. 7 won't work. Ballots may be mailed to: 825 Portland Ave., Gladstone, 97027.

For citizens who have an aversion to stamps or can't mail their ballots fast enough, there are several drop-off locations in the greater Sandy area for convenience. At all of these sites, ballots must be received by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7.
