The Lake Oswego Junior Women's Club is ready for another spectacular display of holiday spirit.
On Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. attendees of the 13th Annual Holiday Home Tour can tour four local homes decorated to impress.
Proceeds benefit women's and children's agencies throughout the greater Portland area, as they have since 1991. To date the LOJWC has raised more than $1.5 million for local charities.
This year on display visit: a riverfront escape, complete with a private vineyard and underground wine cellar; an eclectic ranch, remodeled for modern living; an 'old world' classic tucked in a wooded setting; and a cottage nestled on Oswego Lake.
This year, all guests are required to use three shuttles to view the homes.
Due to limited home accessibility and city parking regulations, guests will be required to use the Home Tour Shuttle Service. All three Shuttle Service locations and adjacent parking are detailed on each Home Tour ticket as well as the LOJWC Web site.
Instead of the usual boutique this year, a Purse Auction Party is scheduled for April of 2007.
A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase the day of the event only at United Church of Christ.
Purchase tickets in advance for $30. Visit the LOJWC Web site at www.lojwc.org for ticket information, to learn about the sponsors, the history of the LOJWC, scholarships and involvement.
This year's sponsors include: Mary Jo Avery with Re/Max Equity Group, First American Title Company of Oregon, Metke Remodeling and Woodworking, Mercedes-Benz, KINK FM 102 and the Lake Oswego Review.
