Kim Phelps of Boring and Adam Sanders of Troutdale were married Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Lake House at Fairview's Blue Lake Park.
The bride's father walked her down the aisle in a double-ring ceremony officiated by Pastor Scott Lerwick of Inola, Okla.
The bride is the daughter of Dean and Mary Phelps of Boring. She is a 1998 Sandy High School graduate and a 2002 Western Oregon University graduate. She is employed as a first grade teacher at Sandy Grade School.
The groom is the son of Patrick and Cheryl Sanders of Sandy. He is a 1998 Gresham High School graduate, a 2002 Oregon State University graduate and is pursuing his master's degree at Portland State University. He is employed as an investment analyst.
Rene Boyles, the bride's friend from Sandy, was the maid of honor. The bride's cousins, Carla Phelps of Oregon City and Amanda Phelps of Milwaukie and friend Katy Roberson of Portland, also attended the bride.
Eric Sanders, the groom's brother from Sandy, was the best man. The groom's friends Jeff Ruppel of Vancouver, Wash., Nathan Stevens from Yorkshire, England, and Eric Olson from Beaverton also attended the groom.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Lake House. The couple honeymooned on a cruise and at Walt Disney World.
Adam and Kim Sanders are making their home in Troutdale.
