City hall evacuated
Lake Oswego Police Officer Bryan Sheldon looks on as authorities scramble during a gas leak at this construction site on the corner of A Avenue and Fourth Street Monday. The leak prompted the evacuation of Lake Oswego City Hall, nearby townhouses and an office. The leak was reported at about 4 p.m. and contained in about an hour. The eastbound lanes of A Avenue were closed to traffic between Fourth and Fifth streets during the incident.
