Bowmen beat Cleveland in OT to move to 3-0
Boys basketball -- Sherwood is off to a strong start to the season
The Sherwood High School boys basketball team picked up another victory to remain perfect on the season.
But the Bowmen had to work a little extra to score their latest win. Sherwood moved to 3-0 by posting a 52-49 overtime win over Cleveland in a non-league game played Tuesday at Sherwood High School.
The teams, in Tuesday's game, ended regulation play tied at 42-42. But the Bowmen outscored Cleveland 10-7 in the extra session to get the win.
Nathaniel Keohane led Sherwood in the victory with 16 points. Ian Donovan added 10 points and Connor Rumpf scored nine.
Prior to the overtime win over Cleveland, the Bowmen scored a 52-50 victory over South Albany in a game played Friday at South Albany High School.
Donovan scored 14 points in that contest, Ryan Lobdell added 13 and Keohane had 10.
