Volunteers again step up for book sale
Thanks once again to all the volunteers who helped with recent The Friends of the Forest Grove Library book sale! We are especially indebited to our schleppers who haul the books: Hugh Chrestenson, Mike Smith, John Hock, Walt Wentz, Laird Hastay, and John Rice. We are also very grateful to Henningson's Storage who lets us store our books there. And last, special thanks to Janet Lonneker and the folks at Light and Power and to Forest Grove Police Chief, Glen VanBlarcom, who so generously changed venues for a police department party that allowed us to have our book sale at the Light and power Building at the last minutes. Thanks to one and all!

Parade was just what city needed
I would just like to say thank you to the city and the participants of last week's holiday parade. This is exactly what Forest Grove families are looking for.
It was great to see the community get together and have so much fun. I would love to see the holiday parade and a holiday light contest come back next year so residents can celebrate traditions in their own town.
