The annual 'Fill the Boot' fundraiser, where firefighters and paramedics stand by the highway asking for donations to fight muscular dystrophy will take place this Sunday, Aug. 14.

From noon to 4 p.m. members of the Scappoose Fire District will be standing at the intersection of Highway 30 and Havlik Drive near Fred Meyer.

Money raised benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
