PORTLAND - Marcus Potter, a Tualatin High School senior-to-be, was part of the Oregon No. 2 team that played in the 43rd-annual Hogan Cup Team Matches golf tournament held Saturday and Sunday at the Riverside Golf and Country Club in Portland.
Potter teamed with Clayton Madey of West Linn, Cody Benko of Lake Oswego and Alistair Docherty of Vancouver, Wash., to place sixth in the 12-team event with a 25-over-par score of 457 strokes.
Potter finished in a tie for 28th place in the individual standings with a two-round score of 155.
Northern California won the tournament team title and Bryson DeChambeau of Clovis, Calif., was the individual winner with a score of 143.
