8/13/11 8:54 a.m. A bicycle thief entered a garage on Deerbrush Avenue and stole a Cyclo cross bicycle valued at $1,200.

8/14/11 7:45 p.m. An ex-tenant is suspected of breaking into an apartment on Second Street.


8/9/11 7:43 p.m. A woman driver's vehicle was rear-ended by a silver Dodge Magna driven by a drunken driver who had no insurance.


8/9/11 3:42 p.m. A blue Robert August paddleboard was stolen from the Goodin Easement on Lakeview Boulevard.

8/11/ 5:23 p.m. A former employee gave himself a going-away gift by stealing an Apple laptop computer.

8/11/11 7:16 a.m. A thief entered a trailer at a construction site on A Avenue and stole a 32-inch flat screen TV and two computer monitors.

8/11/11 1:04 p.m. A stereo valued at $400 was stolen from a residence at Mt. Jefferson Terrace.

8/11/11 2:51 p.m. A shoplifter lifted detergent and cleaning supplies at the Albertson's on Boones Ferry Road. Loss was set at $70. The suspects are three young people who left in a light-colored vehicle.

8/11/11 4:36 p.m. A woman's birth certificate was stolen from a residence just outside of Lake Oswego.

8/12/11 11:39 a.m. After having four tires installed on his car at Les Schwab, a man said he would return in a few hours for the brakes. Only he has yet to return. The loss on the tires was set at $1,277.

8/12/11 1:50 p.m. In a possible attempted theft at Pacific Residential Mortgage LLC, a locked file cabinet was damaged overnight, causing an estimated $200 in damage.

8/13/11 7:45 a.m. A woman's Honda was broken into on Jefferson Parkway.

8/13/11 1:45 p.m. A tablesaw valued at $200 was stolen from a location on Middlecrest Road.

8/13/11 6:20 p.m. A 50-year-old man was warned about misusing 9-1-1.

8/13/11 7:13 p.m. A 17-year-old boy got away from a youth facility by taking a bus to Portland.

8/13/11 8:34 p.m. A woman on Carman Drive is drunk and breaking things.

8/13/11 8:44 p.m. An 18-year-old son has gone out of control and his parents requested help.


8/9/11 7:19 a.m. A woman is exercising finder's rights on a bike she discovered near Westridge Elementary.

8/9/11 10:32 a.m. While dropping off his daughter near a business on Pilkington Road, a father was upset to hear a loud argument between a male and a female. The father is mostly concerned about foul language being used around kids in the neighborhood.

8/9/11 12:43 p.m. A nasty female neighbor is sending harassing text messages to a man on Bernard Street. The man wants the woman to stop and is concerned about what could happen to his child.

8/9/11 5:07 p.m. Overly aggressive juvenile lemonade sellers are upsetting drivers on Melrose Street and Westlake Drive by sticking their heads into their car windows and yelling.

8/9/11 5:49 p.m. Juvenile mischief-makers on Kingsgate Road caused damage to the new concrete poured at Oak Creek Elementary School.

8/9/11 6:39 p.m. Three boys were warned about being on the roof of Oak Creek Elementary School after going to retrieve their ball.

8/10/11 9:22 a.m. Vandals did $200 in damage by breaking the window of a building on Country Club Road.

8/10/11 10:53 a.m. An Italian greyhound was running around on Boones Ferry Road because its cheapskate owner was apparently unwilling to pay to have it boarded. Attempts to have the speedy dog picked up have failed.

8/10/11 12:09 p.m. A customer at a pet supply store became irate when her purchase was placed in plastic bags, not boxed as she requested.

8/10/11 4:27 p.m. Organ donor traffickers are stealing IDs and have threatened a woman's life.

8/10/11 5:34 p.m. A solicitor for a pest service is making a pest of himself by being too aggressive on Tanglewood Drive.

8/10/11 9:39 p.m. Several juveniles were contacted about trespassing on the golf course, but they said they were only looking at the stars.

8/11/11 1:18 a.m. A bunch of drunken people were heard leaving a party on First Street and getting into their cars.

8/11/11 7:04 a.m. A woman who was picketing a job site on Boones Ferry Road said she was assaulted by an employee. Her report will be forwarded to the city attorney and be reviewed for harassment.

8/11/11 8:52 a.m. A Doberman at large on Churchill Downs is nipping at joggers as they jog along.

8/11/11 12:50 p.m. Vandals ripped out the phone line at Oswego Lake House.

8/11/11 2:39 p.m. Two Dobermans came out of their yard on Churchill Downs and frightened a man and his granddaughter.

8/11/11 4:13 p.m. A son is getting high, staying out late and being disrespectful.

8/11/11 4:54 p.m. A woman calling 9-1-1 for spiritual support is upset because she cannot get through.

8/11/11 11:08 p.m. Two 17 year olds carrying guns were observed on Foothills Drive.

8/12/11 7:55 a.m. A glass bottle was thrown through the window of a building on Country Club Road.

8/12/11 9:50 a.m. A woman refused to answer the door when police came to check on her, although she did shout out that she wanted the cops to leave her alone. Her relatives were worried about the woman because she had been sending them strange statements.

8/12/11 9:52 a.m. A daughter stole some of her mother's jewelry while spending the night with her. The mom doesn't want to press charges, but the brother wants action taken.

8/12/11 11:34 a.m. A delusional patient is constantly making phone calls to a woman and ranting about all kinds of issues.

8/12/11 12:22 p.m. A shoplifter returned to a Blockbuster store even though he had been caught trying to shoplift there the previous day.

8/12/11 5:14 p.m. A woman jogging down Glenmorrie Drive was harassed by two juveniles in a car who drove so close to her that they practically yelled in her ear.

8/3/11 8:38 a.m. A nervy shooter shot a paintball from his vehicle that struck a woman on her biking helmet as she was pedaling down Boones Ferry Road.

8/13/11 9:23 a.m. A scary bulldog keeps hanging around a trail near Palisades Crest Drive.

8/13/11 11:01 a.m. A mother was in fear for her safety after an argument with the father of her child.

8/14/11 5:26 a.m. A car on Palisades Terrace Drive was broken into, but there was no sign of forced entry and nothing was missing.

8/14/11 12:48 p.m. A wife called the police for advice on how to deal with her husband's drug habit after he drove off to obtain cocaine in Portland.

8/14/11 1:22 p.m. A woman managed to get away from an aggressive pitbull that was trying to bite her ankles by flagging down a passing vehicle and jumping in. Her exciting escape took place on Lakeview Boulevard.


8/9/11 4:07 p.m. Three checks for large amounts - $3,008.32, $3,182.82 and $3,052 - were written on a man's bank account.

8/10/11 10:37 a.m. A boutique received a check for $137 from an account that did not have sufficient funds.

8/14/11 5:34 p.m. Six subjects attempted to use a credit card for a $2,500 purchase at the Glass Butterfly, but it was declined. They asked that the card be checked offline but left the store before the operation could be completed. However, once again the card was declined.
