Beaverton police locate 9-year-old girl
Beaverton police have located a missing 9-year-old girl.
Noelle Leeann Bordeaux is home safe and sound.
Police say she had gone to a friend's house to play and then to a friend of a friend's house without letting her mother know.
Police were notified of her disappearance just before 6:15 p.m. after she had not been seen since 4:45 p.m. Tuesday night in the Southwest Bonnie Brae Drive neighborhood.
"Beaverton Police would like to thank the quick and overwhelming response of the media to collect and distribute this information in the interest of the safety of the child," said Sgt. Jim Shumway, after the young girl returned home. "Thankfully, this has a happy ending."
