Thanks go out to Gladstone library supporters
As a member of the Build Gladstone's Future committee, I want to thank all of our hardworking volunteers.
I especially want to thank Herb and Beth Oetken. They saw a need and were willing to fight for their beliefs. When I joined the group, there were only eight members, we now number over 50 dedicated, talented volunteers. I feel proud to be a part of this committee.
Thanks to The Clackamas Review. By printing our letters, the paper served as an avenue for us to bring honest and truthful dialogue to the voting citizenry. Also thanks to all of our supporters, donors (all of our funds were raised locally) and yard sign participants. Without all of you, our message would not have been heard.
Thanks to all of you for allowing me to be a part of this group. You have enabled me to work for a cause I treasure, our library-the heart of our community.
Getting ahead of itself
Since Oregon City became aggressive with annextions years back, service fees, and of course taxes have gotten out of hand.
Oregon City has gotten ahead of itself.
