Clackamas junior infielder Austin Kelly has been honored as a Class 6A High School First-Team All-State selection in baseball.

Oregon City coach Greg Lord was named the Class 6A Coach of the Year, as he led the Pioneers to the first state championship in the history of their school.

Kelly had a .431 batting average (44-for-102) on the 2012 high school season, with 27 RBI, 21 runs scored and 14 extra base hits, including three home runs.

Three Rivers League champion Lake Oswego had three players on the Class 6A first team: senior pitcher Will Waterman, senior first baseman Reid Penny and senior infielder Tyler Campbell.

Lakeridge senior outfielder Nick Sotta was also a first-team selection.

Oregon City senior Louis Wolf (utility) and Lake Oswego sophomore Travis Sanders (pitcher) were 6A second-team all-state selections.

Oregon City senior catcher Jon Reece, Lake Oswego junior outfielder Jack Anderson and Lakeridge senior outfielder Tyler Smith merited honorable mention in the all-state balloting.

In Class 4A, La Salle senior outfielder Erich Regan made the first all-star unit.

La Salle junior pitchers Trey Norton and Sean Hays merited honorable mention in the 4A all-star balloting, along with Gladstone senior shortstop Trace Webster.

Regan had a team-leading .438 batting average on the 2012 high school season, with 24 RBI and 27 runs scored.
