Addison H. Coe

March 14, 1941-Aug. 12, 2011

Addison was born in Loma Linda, Calif.; he grew up in Riverside, Calif. After enlisting in the U.S. Air Force, he was stationed in Portland, where he met his future wife, Donna Treadwell. They married in 1963.

He earned his associate degree at Mt. Hood Community College, then had a career in real estate and a limousine service.

After retiring, Addison and Donna moved to Estacada in 2006. He became involved in classic cars and owned and rebuilt a 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan and a 1955 DeSoto Sportsman.

He loved showing off his cars every day and at weekly car shows. He also loved his hometown of Riverside, Calif., and the opportunity to travel whenever he could.

Addison's family was the love of his life. He was proud of his children and adored his grandchildren. He was 'Bapa' to them and all of their friends.

Addison is survived by his wife, Donna; his daughters, Stephanie and Heather; his son, Scott; and three grandchildren, Samantha, Shawn and Emma.

Blanche Mae McKibben-Fertig-Hilton

July 4, 1923-Aug. 22, 2011

Blanche Mae McKibben-Fertig-Hilton, who was born on July 4, 1923, in Caribou, Minn., to James and Alma McKibben, died Aug. 22, 2011, at the age of 88.

Blanche's family moved to Oregon in 1952 and settled in Estacada, where she raised four daughters, Laurel, Becky, Jamie and Kerry.

Blanche was proceeded in death by her parents and four sisters, and is survived by her sister Dorothy Jacobson, her daughters, seven granchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Blanche has been a member of Garfield Community Church since 1970, where Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, followed by a celebration of her life at the Estacada Senior Center.

Loretta F. 'Susie' Billings

July 26, 1933-Aug. 3, 2011

Loretta F. 'Susie' Billings, a former resident of Gresham and Boring, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, in Portland. She was 78.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Estacada Community Center, 200 S.W. Club House Drive.

Susie was born July 26, 1933, in Boise, Idaho, to Jesse and Lucille Leach. As a child, she lived in Boise, Idaho, Spokane, Wash., and Tacoma, Wash. At age 14, she moved with her family to Sandy.

On Dec. 4, 1950, she married Leonard R. Billings. They lived in Sandy, Boring and Gresham, and in Estacada for the last 32 years.

Susie was a homemaker but occasionally worked part-time jobs. At one time, she worked at Sparkles Cleaners in Portland. From the late 1970s to the early 1980s she worked as a relief cook and custodian for the Gresham-Barlow School District.

Susie loved life, and enjoyed seeing and talking with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed watching the deer and elk that walked through her property.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her brothers, Jesse, Robert, Marvin Leach and Harley James.

Survivors include her son, Len Billings of Estacada; daughter, Yvonne Dirksen of Kennewick, Wash.; sisters, Bonnie Henneman of Clackamas and Betty Webber of Portland; and two grandsons.

Brooklyn Marie Allison

Estacada resident Brooklyn Marie Allison died at her home Wednesday, Aug. 10. She was 1 year and 18 days old.

A celebration of her life was held Saturday, Aug. 13, at Estacada First Baptist Church.

Brooklyn Marie Allison was born July 22, 2010, in Spokane, Wash., to Justin Allison and Kari Locke. She lived in Estacada most of her life, and was very loved by all who knew her.

Survivors include her mother, Kari Locke of Estacada; father, Justin Allison of Oregon City; grandparents, Kim King of Milwaukie, Steve Locke of Estacada, James Allison of Milwaukie and Tricia Allison of Oregon City; aunts, Daisha Hale of Estacada, Robin Lund of Milwaukie and Kitanna Allison of Everett, Wash.; uncles, Jaymes Allison of Oregon City, Dameion Allison of Everett and Gauge Allison of Spokane, Wash.; great-grandparents, Sue and Ed King of Yuma, Ariz., Winni Allison of Sandy, Wayne Bocca of Eagle Creak and Linda Scott of Eagle Creek; great-aunt, Emma Locke of Boring; great-uncles, Jonah King of Milwaukie and Jason Locke of Boring; great-great-aunt, Diane Anderson of Fairview; great-great-uncle Brian Anderson of Fairview; and cousin Jesse Brockner of Boring.

Estacada Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Sandra Ann East

Sandra Ann East died Aug. 10 at the age of 67.

Sandra and her husband, Daryl, were married April 18, 1963, and enjoyed a very happy 48-year marriage until her passing. Sandra spent many years as a cook at Granny's, and was an amazing and caring person who will be missed.

She is survived by her husband, Daryl East; daughters, Tina Cole and Patricia Hutchinson; sons James East and Michael East; and 14 grandchildren.
