• AntFarm, Sandy’s youth development center, has summer hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. The center is running its summer internship workforce development program and outdoor classes incorporating its community garden, which is located behind Suburban Ford and the new urgent care. It also is starting its AntFarm Café. In addition, AntFarm is continuing to collect cans, plastic bottles and old phones for recycling. The group also holds a knitting class from 10 a.m. to noon Fridays.

• Wood Village Baptist Church will hold its fourth annual clothing exchange from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.

Donations will be accepted between church services from 10:30-11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, and Friday, Aug. 10, in the Fellowship Hall.

For each item of clothing donated — in good condition, laundered and stain-free, folded or placed on hangers and pre-sorted for infants, boys, girls, women and men — you get another item free. • The Sandy Fire District will celebrate its centennial with festivities including an antique and emergency vehicle apparatus show, games, a swim day, food, photos and more.
