Naked man arrested near Beaverton middle school

It was quite the first morning of school for some middle school students in Beaverton.

A school bus driver called 9-1-1 at 7:13 a.m. Wednesday morning after seeing the man walking along Northwest 173rd Avenue, wearing only a backpack, shoes and socks.

Nearby Five Oaks Middle School was placed under "lockout" as police responded.

Washington County Deputies and Beaverton Police officers contacted Russell David Persons, 23, who told them he'd just left a friend's house and was just "walking around."

Persons reportedly told police he knew he was naked but that he did not believe that was a problem.

He was arrested for disorderly conduct for his in-the-buff behavior.

Wednesday is the first day of school for all Beaverton students
